Optimal management and control of production, logistics, and energy supply can ensure a considerable reduction in costs and greater efficiency. The modules in the M4C Control solution provide the businesses resources with user-friendly tools to manage the complexity of these issues and to make decisions faster and with a better understanding of the economic variables involved.
The Control modules include:
Predictive Maintenance
Unplanned system stoppage can lead to huge losses and production delays. Likewise, scheduled but unnecessary servicing can cause pointless costs and non-optimal use of resources. The Predictive Maintenance module receives incoming information from detection sensors in different parts of the systems that read operating parameters (temperatures, rotation speeds, vibrations ...) and information contained in the ECUs of the individual machines and/or production lines (work hours, productivity, number of parts produced ...) in order to monitor operation status. Predictive Maintenance is based on the breakdown and malfunctions log, along with and the results of previous tests to obtain breakdown risk forecasting indicators. The module uses predictive information, combined with business rules based on knowledge of the production cycle and systems, to interpret current operation (providing potential breakdown alerts before failures become inevitable) and to allow appropriate intervention.
Energy Control
Energy Control brings together all the tools needed to manage and control energy costs, including verification of energy invoices payable, tools to support the implementation of efficiency policies, and a component for energy data management and analysis.
Energy Optimization
Energy Optimisation is a compilation of tools to optimise the cost of energy acquisition that allows users to assess and compare alternative price development scenarios, as well as predicting their own energy consumption for self-procurement or self-programming purposes.
Optimal Stock
The management of thousands of SKUs and multiple warehouses according to a distribution model can lead to considerable pockets of inefficiency. The Optimal Stock module calculates the optimal quantities to keep in each store per item, taking into account all business variables, from carriage costs to space taken up and re-procurement time.
Safety Stock
Losing sales or having to cancel orders due to a lack of high-demand products has a strong negative impact on sales and company image. The Safety Stock module calculates the minimum level of units to keep in stock per item, taking into account all business variables (from cost of production to delivery cost/times). Through the Safety Stock module, users can avoid the risk of lost sales and manage the alerts that signal when stocks are approaching the threshold of concern.
CoGest
The Cogest module is designed to support Management Control in cost monitoring and the definition of preliminary and final results. The module allows users to monitor the different cost centres, profit centres, and expenditure items, importing the annual budgets, cost estimates, details of contracts entered into, invoices issued and received, and incoming and outgoing payments. Cogest runs daily performance checks using final results indicators, indicators of divergences between orders and invoices, year-end projections of expenses and signals that the budget has been or is likely to be exceeded.
